While when you search online for hotels in Alwar Rajasthan, it is often to see big commercial websites offering hotels at a considerable price. Some might fit your budget and some might not. But If you are looking for the cheapest possible hotel or room in the city then you are at the right place.
Just keep reading till the end and I will tell you not only about Alwar, Its history, tourist places, and a stay at the lowest price.
About Alwar
A city which is a center of tourism is located almost 150 km from Delhi and the same from Jaipur. Loaded with a lot of tourist attractions it was established the Kachawa Rajput Pratap Singh.
You can get direct trains from Jaipur and Delhi to Alwar Rajasthan.

Why chose Alwar city for tourism
Absolutely, Getting a cheap hotel is not a convincing point for you to pack your bags and start traveling. You are not thrown out of your house! right? Hahaha.
Well, believe me, Alwar in Rajasthan has an abundance of travel attractions. Whether it be The attractive Alwar City Palace aka Vinay Vilas Palace or the Moosi Rani Ki Chatri. Every place has its unique identity and unique heritage to share with you, so why wait, let’s dig into what this city is offering.

Bala Quilla
A 6 century-old fort known as Bala Quilla means young fort is the oldest fort in the city. It has gone through the hands of multiple dynasties & still standing, worth a visit.
But you are allowed with only a covered car only.
Sarsika Tiger reserve and Natioanl Park
A forest in the foothills of Aravali mountain. A great place for experiencing wildlife in Rajasthan. A number of animal breeds exist here to tell you about the Jungle Safari.
BUT YOU ARE ALLOWED WITH ONLY A COVERED CAR ONLY.
Opposite the Sariska Tiger Reserve, A beautiful park waiting to serve you with immense peace and calmness. Also a great picturesque spot for Instagrammers.
Vijay Mandir Palace
A royal residence of Maharaja Jey Singh, built-in 1918. A great picturesque spot surrounding the Vijay Sagar Lake.
Ajabgarh Bhangarh Fort

Hope Circus
A wonderful example of architecture. Circular design and Stairs leading from all four sides. Top of that A temple of Lord Shiva. A great view of the city from above can be seen.
I have told you about some famous places in Alwar. But there is a lot more than these to explore like Sariska Palace Hotel and so on. Also do not forget that city is home to some of the special bazaars(Market) in the state like Churi bazaar, Sarafa bazaar & you know that Indian Bazaars have their own wonderful experiences of shopping, bargaining and what not.
One more thing, Milk Cake of Alwar is very famous and delicious. In fact, It is now a big industry here that employs around 5000 persons. The famous shop of Baba Thakur Das & Sons at the Hope Circus has the best sweet. There is also an article published in The Hindu which you can read here.
How you can get a room in 3 $ only
Well, here is the information, you might be looking for. In fact, when I was researching on Internet, I looked for hotels in Alwar but loaded with tons of ads. But with lots of research, I found one place.
You just need a Identity card, Adhaar card is usually preferred.
It was Aggarwal Dharamshala. This place is exactly in front of the Bus stand in the city and also very near to the City Palace and most of the tourist destinations. So it became the best option for me.
It just cost me 200 rupees (nearly 3 dollars) for a single bedroom but if you want you can also get a room starting 120rs. While in this, a bed will not be provided, only Char-pie (Rural bed with ropes tied) will be given.
I stayed there for 2 days and the amenities here except the room is not that good like a hotel but still, they are clean. If you want to lower your cost of travel and save some money then It could be a good choice and forget that it is located near all of the tourist locations. Making it easier for you to get everywhere.
They also provide food for extra 70 rupees (1 dollar) but for this, you need to talk to them in advance. But I will recommend not to get food from them, It’s not nice.

Now let’s be practical, Why Alwar? Well, the answer is, It has got wildlife, Forts, wonderful architecture buildings, museums, Parks, Biodiversity Parks, bazaars and what not.
