Indian culture and its diversity have been a point of attraction to the western world. From north to south and east to west, on every step, you travel things are going to change. Whatever you might have seen and learned in one place might not help you in another location. For instance, there are more than 19500 dialects are spoken in India. So, if you learned a few words of Hindi might not going to work in the southern and western parts of India.

In Punjab people mostly belong to Sikhism and wear a turban, in the south they have Dhoti (traditional Indian clothing) with a shirt, Women mostly wear Saree.

In my opinion, the most beautiful and colorful attire in India is found in Rajasthan. Before I say anything just have a look at these pictures.

Anyone who is convincing you on why you should visit India will never forget to tell you about the heritage and Architecture, And so I am doing. India has 38 World heritage sites and thousands of other popular tourist attractions. Some of them are the

  • Taj Mahal,
  • Konark Sun Temple,
  • Kailasa temple
  • Hampi
  • and Ajanta- Elora caves.

The Taj is a wonderful monumental milestone but as a said there is a lot to explore. I am personally not a big fan of the Taj Mahal because I know about the other great monuments which are far more elegant and will literally force you to scratch your scalp.

Let’s take the example of the Kailasa Temple. Now, this building was build in the 8th century by Rashtrakuta King Krishna I between the year 756 and 773 AD and still standing. This marvelous structure is the only example of rock-cut out technology, which means the entire temple was built by removing the stones from a single giant rock. Do not forget that there is not even a single joint anywhere.

4. Indian Food

Do you know that India is called as the Land of spices? India is the largest producer of almost every variety of spices. Everyone dream about the spicy and delicious food here. Foreigners once taste the food and then they do not want to go back.

Spices and strong smells makes cuisines so delicious that you will definitely get watery mouth.

Some of most famous dishes among tourists are

  • Gol Gappa (Pani Puri)
  • Chicken Tandoori
  • Allo Paratha
  • Biryani
  • Gulab Jamun
  • Gajrela

India is known for its festivals and fairs all around the globe. Festivals like Diwali and Dushehra are celebrated in the whole country and spread a vibe of joy that is easy to feel. Some occasions come along with their own fairs like Dushehra. In this open park turns themselves in amusement parks with lots of food carts arranged by the locals nearby. It has been a tradition here for people to visit these fairs.

One another reason that I would say is The Indian traditional Marriages. Well, whatever grand you organize in the western world, it can never match up with the Indian style of marriages. The specialty of marriages here is that they have rituals to perform. Rituals make our style of marriage a great entertaining and engaging event in a spiritual environment.

LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST REASON FOR VISITING INDIA ONCE IN LIFE.

6. Religion

Before I say something, I want to tell you that I personally believe in Hinduism that teaches me to respect every religion. India has been comfortable with the entry of every nonnative religion in its boundaries. For instance, the very first mosque that was built in India was in 629AD in Kerala.

Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism were born and flourished in India without any struggle instead the kings and other aristocrats of that time literally publicized them. Some of them also do convert themselves.

Reason to tell you all this is not for taking credit but telling you the actual nature of the culture here. Some of the most famous religious sites that are associated with all these religions can only be found in India, So naturally, it becomes a reason to visit India.

The Yoga and Ayurveda are also a gift to the world by the Great Incredible India.

Conclusion

In the last, I will only say that it is not for generalizing that only India is best and everything else is just a waste. Every country has its own uniqueness, history, and culture. But one thing that I will say is that India has something different something Incredible that you cannot find anywhere else.
